Overview
Finalsite Enrollment has teamed up with Niche to simplify the way families connect with schools. With this new integration, schools can now capture leads directly from their Niche profiles, streamlining the enrollment journey for both parents and admissions teams.
What is Niche?
Niche is a popular website that helps people discover and research schools, colleges, neighborhoods, and companies across the United States. It’s especially well-known in the education space for providing detailed profiles, rankings, and reviews of K–12 schools and higher education institutions.

Introduction to the Finalsite Enrollment & Niche Integration
For schools using Finalsite Enrollment and Niche together, leads can now flow directly into your system in real time. Schools with any paid tier of a Niche profile can now receive leads through Finalsite Enrollment.
Here’s how it works:
-
Your Niche school profile contains custom call-to-action buttons, such as "Learn More" or "Apply Now," that lead to a short and simple embedded form.
-
If a parent isn’t logged in, they’ll see a quick lead form on your Niche profile.
-
If they are logged in, Niche automatically submits their information, and no additional form is required.
-
-
Data is delivered through Finalsite Enrollment’s API.
-
Leads automatically appear in your Finalsite Enrollment platform from Niche.
What information will be collected?
The parent's Name and Email will be imported into Finalsite Enrollment and will generate a Lead.
If the parent includes child information as well, the student's Name and Grade will be imported and generate a Prospect.
Understanding Leads & Prospects
When a family submits an inquiry form in Niche, the parent will be imported into Finalsite Enrollment as a Lead. If the parent came over with a student, the student will be imported as a Prospect, and they will be linked together automatically.
Lead Management
You can find your Leads under Admissions > Students in Admissions > Leads.
On this page, you will find the following details:
- Lead Status: A lead will be listed as Active if they do not have a student linked to them, and will be Progressed if they are linked to a student.
- Lead Source: Displays Niche if the parent came through the integration.
- Lead Source Date: Shows when the lead was received.
- You also have the option to filter by Niche Leads Only under Filter Options.
In addition, you will have access to the Leads Report, found under Search & Report > Admissions Report > Leads. This report shows each Lead Source, the number of Leads, and the number of students generated from the lead form, separated by workflow. You can learn more about this report by visiting the Leads Report article.
Prospect Management
You can find your Prospects under Admissions > Students in Admissions > Prospects.
On this page, you have the option to filter by Niche Prospects Only under Filter Options.
Prospects are considered out of workflow contacts in Finalsite Enrollment since they fall outside of your Admissions funnel until you make that first connection. You can add them to workflow from the Prospects list page under the Edit menu.
Learn more about prospects by visiting the articles "Prospect Management" and "Prospect List Page & Reports."
