The Activity search in Search & Reports finds contacts who have a specific activity type recorded on their record within a chosen timeframe, such as a phone call, mailed packet, or event attendance.
💡Quick Answers
- How do I run an Activity search? In Search & Reports, select Activity as the criterion, choose an activity type from the dropdown, select Date is or Date is not, and set the timeframe.
- Can I combine an Activity search with other criteria? Yes, add additional criteria such as Admissions Status - for example, finding all Applicants who had a Phone Inquiry in the last 60 days.
- What appears in the Activity search results? The selected activity type automatically appears as a column showing the date it was recorded; notes or descriptions are not included in search results.
- How is an Activity search different from a checklist item search? Activities are informal tracking tags added manually to the Recent Activity section; checklist items are structured workflow steps tracked separately.
