Contract Fee Rules tell each Contract Fee when to apply by checking field data on the student's record. For example, a Mystery Club fee can have a rule that applies only to high school students who are in the Mystery Club. Rules must be added and edited by the Finalsite Enrollment team.
💡Quick Answers
- Where do I view fee rules? Settings > Financial > Contract Fees. Expand a fee to see the rule(s) attached.
- Who creates and edits rules? The Finalsite Enrollment Support Team. Contact Support with details about the fee and how it should apply.
- What's needed for a rule to work properly? The student must have values set for the related fields the rule checks. Otherwise the rule can't evaluate.
- What information does each rule display? Rule Description (internal name), Rule (the logic our team writes), Active (whether it's enabled), Last Edit, and Edit History.
- How can I see what's changed on a rule? Click View Changes in the Edit History column. The pop-up shows the last five edits with who made them and when.
